Dr. John Robertson grew up in the city of Novi, Michigan. His undergraduate Bachelor of Science was completed at Michigan State University where he studied Physiology within the Lyman Briggs Residential Science College. Next came dental school where he earned his D.D.S. at the University of Michigan. During those years, Dr. Robertson served as a board member and treated patients for the VINA Community Dental Clinic in Brighton, MI where he was connected with Drs. Brian Petersburg and Brian Giammalva.
Dr. Robertson's interest in dentistry begins with a fascination with the health sciences and a long line of engineers in his family. The practice of dentistry revealed a perfect blend of these interests. Dr. Robertson’s philosophy starts with patient education and collaboration. The goal is not to merely fix a problem, but to understand how it happened to prepare our future strategies for lasting oral health and prevention.
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Robertson enjoys the outdoor activities Michigan’s four beautiful seasons have to offer. He is an avid cook who appreciates learning new skills and cuisines. Music is another important portion of his free time, learning instruments and attending concerts with friends & family.
